Commercial seller agreement
Seller terms
These terms supplement the marketplace terms for approved commercial sellers on THE NINTH ARCHIVE.
1. Admission
Seller access is controlled. Applicants must act commercially, provide accurate business and tax information, submit stock evidence and pass manual review. Approval may be withdrawn if information is false, incomplete or no longer current.
2. Listings
Sellers must use their own accurate photographs and complete all six required image categories before publication, including front, back, labels, construction detail and condition or flaws. They must select the correct brand and category, document condition and alterations, disclose every material flaw and affirm those facts when publishing. Measurements are optional, but requested measurements should be answered promptly and accurately.
3. Authenticity and rights
The seller warrants lawful ownership and authenticity of every piece. Counterfeits, stolen goods and listings that infringe third-party rights are prohibited. The platform may request provenance evidence, pause a listing or restrict an account while a review is open.
4. Prices, fees and taxes
The displayed commercial model is €10 per month plus an 8% commission on the sale price, unless an individual written agreement applies. A selected seller may receive a one-time waiver of the monthly fee for six calendar months. Sales commission is not waived. Membership renews monthly; future renewals can be canceled in Membership & billing through Stripe. Sellers remain responsible for their own invoices, tax treatment and statutory disclosures.
5. Fulfilment
A sold piece must be packed securely, shipped within the stated deadline and supplied with valid tracking. A seller must not sell or rent a reserved piece elsewhere.
6. Returns and disputes
Commercial sellers must accept the recorded withdrawal and return process, honour applicable consumer rights and the return eligibility displayed at purchase. They must cooperate with evidence requests and may not pressure a buyer to resolve a dispute outside the recorded platform flow.
7. Rental obligations
Rental is a labelled beta. Where enabled, the seller defines the rental period, daily price and dispatch window; the purchase price is the refundable deposit. The seller records condition evidence before dispatch. Deposits and payment authorisations must be handled only through the selected regulated payment provider.
8. Suspension and termination
The platform may pause listings or restrict seller access for suspected fraud, repeated fulfilment failures, unsafe conduct or legal risk. Open orders, rentals, returns and statutory retention obligations survive account closure.
9. Prototype limitation
The marketplace checkout, fulfilment and payouts remain a prototype. Seller membership uses a separate Stripe integration when configured and enabled. Test-mode screens never represent real payments. Seller application and account data use the configured server database. Legal review and operational readiness are required before live billing is enabled.
